Happy Thanksgiving! My 2020 Pie Party was a drive-through event.

Every pie party is a little different from the last, but this year the pandemic has changed how we do everything. However, I still wanted to thank my clients for their support and business over the years.

Pandemic aside, the drive-through pie party was a success. I planned to have a tent outside, but the weather would not cooperate. St. Ursula’s Church was kind enough to let me use their vestibule because it was so windy.

Unlike other years, many people chose to stay at home. As an alternative, I offered the option of me making a donation of the value of the pie to the Maryland Food Bank. Clients would still be a part of the celebration even if they were not coming to pick up a pie.

Many of my wonderful friends and clients added to the theme of the event by generously making their own donation to the food bank. I have the best clients, don’t I?

It was great to see everyone, even if it was just for a minute while I put their pie in the car. Winston the dog, came out to celebrate (even though the pie wasn’t for him) along with his owners.

I’m truly thankful for my clients. And I’m glad so many attended the 2020 Pie Party.
