What do you love most about your new home?
All the extra space! Moving from a townhouse to a single family home, basically doubled the square footage of our house. The large master suite is a nice perk too.
If you could sum up your experience in one word what would that be? Why?
Fast. We only toured two houses before making an offer. The online tools Gigi gave us helped us to narrow down our search as we already knew the area we wanted to live in. Selling our townhouse was also surprisingly fast, we had an offer within a week. Again, the tools and suggestions Gigi and her team gave us about getting our house ready to sell made the process easier. We did a lot of prep work to declutter and spruce up our old house which I think made the actual listing and selling process smoother.
Was your experience what you expected? If not how did it differ?
Yes and no. Finding a house was fairly similar to our first experience as we knew what we wanted in terms of price and location. We did a lot of searching online to help us find some houses to tour and we only looked at a few both times before finding something we loved.
This was our first experience selling a home too so we didn’t know what to expect on that end. We followed a lot of Gigi’s suggestions about prepping our house to sell (power washing the house, staging rooms, decluttering, etc.) which took us about a month to do. But it was worth it in the end as our house sold in less than a week and packing up was already partly done.
If you could offer advice to another buyer/seller what would it be?
Keep an open mind. The house we liked best online needed the most work once we saw it in person.

Jane from the title company was amazing! She was very well prepared and organized so our closing went smoothly and quickly.
